Rhapsody is a hole-n-da-wall treasure! The food is amazing, seasoned with soul and grace. My wife and I have tried the fish, , chicken, shrimp, ribs, and gumbo. My favorite side is the collard greens! Don't let the location deter you; the staff is very friendly, and the food is outstanding.

Ate here the food was great. Fried chicken was piping hot out of the fryer, crunchy and delicious. The Mac and cheese was great with a little crispuness and not too mushy. The greens were well seasoned and perfect. Service was good. Restaurant is great for families. Friendly staff

Here with my coffee group needing some good comfort food. We came on a Thursday and hoping to get some oxtail soup but only available on Wednesday and Sundays. Other than that each of us ordered from the menu. Excellent service upon entering and the hostess offered great suggestions for your meal. I ordered the garlic butter shrimp with rice and a side of macaroni n cheese. Best mac n cheese yet. The shrimp was tender and delicious with the green onions and cilantro as toppings. A welcoming dining area with individual booths and open tables for larger parties. I'll be back to try their oxtail soup next. Located on the southeast corner of Shaw and Feland.

Found this place near a coffee shop we were going to. Was really excited to see a place that served southern food. Boyfriend got the triple plate with fried chicken, fried fish, and fried shrimp. Sides were Mac n cheese and potato salad. I had the special for the day which was oxtail. My sides were greens and yams. Both plates came with corn bread. Food overall was amazing. Very much southern comfort. Lots of food, had enough to take home. It's a mom and pop shop. Would absolutely recommend giving it a try.

The food here is so good. We were greeted as soon as entered, and seated. This place does is popular with take out orders. We were the only ones eating in and several people came in for Togo pick up's. It does have lots of seating, flowers on the tables. We ordered the 4 piece regular chicken, yams with Mac and cheese, Triple plate with chili beans, Mac and cheese. Both plate came with corn bread. Everything was so delicious, the Mac and cheese was very cheesy and creamy, yams were the best I've ever had, chili beans were so good & had ground meat in them as well. The fish and shrimp breading was perfect not oily at all and the fried fish is delicious. We got 3 legs and a thigh, obviously freshly made so it was very hot a little oily but to be a little expected still crunchy tho. The cornbread wasn't super sweet but still good however it was on the drier side. The lemon cake is very good and dense but also a little dry, the icing helps combat that element of it. No refills on soda, which wasn't an issue for us but I know some people have a problems right that. The man taking our order let us know for the chicken it was a 15 minute wait & even apologized for it and again when bring out the food. It came out to about $51. Definitely recommend this place, Fresno doesn't currently have many soul food style restaurants.
